As an HR Strategist, I am passionate about educating companies on the role that HR should play in their DEIB initiatives and how detrimental HR can be to an organization's culture if they're not committed and properly trained. It's also imperative that companies truly understand what DEIB is and understand it’s NOT a one-size-fits-all model. People are the key to an organization's success. If the "Great Resignation" and the Pandemic taught us anything it’s that if you don't value your people they will leave. Times have changed, and so many people are no longer willing to sacrifice time with their family or put up with a poor working environment, low wages, and bad management to live paycheck-to-paycheck.
